The Isabella is made for travellers who want the freedom of a backpack without giving up the elegance of fine Italian leather.

Handcrafted in Santa Croce sull’Arno, Tuscany, this Italian leather travel backpack is made from full-grain bovine leather, traditionally vegetable-tanned and carefully finished by hand. The natural grain, subtle variations in colour and rich depth of the leather give each Isabella its own character from the very beginning.

And it only becomes more distinctive with time.

As the leather responds to light, touch and everyday travel, it develops a natural patina — creating a backpack that gradually becomes uniquely yours.

Measuring 28 × 37 × 19 cm, Isabella combines a refined, compact silhouette with considerably more organisation than its proportions suggest. Two separate main compartments make it easy to divide work, travel and personal essentials, while double-pull zip closures provide wide, convenient access.

Inside, a dedicated 26 × 29 cm pocket is designed for an iPad, tablet or suitably sized compact laptop. A leather organiser provides dedicated space for pens, cards and your phone, while a separate zipped pocket keeps smaller valuables securely stored.

The exterior gives you two additional zipped pockets, including a distinctive horizontal front pocket for items you want close at hand while travelling.

Adjustable 85 cm leather shoulder straps allow you to tailor the fit, while protective metal feet help keep the leather away from direct contact with floors when the backpack is set down.

On the brown versions, brushed brass hardware adds warmth and character to the leather. Red and black variants are paired with palladium-finished hardware for a cooler, contemporary look.

The Isabella is 100% Made in Italy in Santa Croce sull’Arno, one of Tuscany’s most renowned leather-making regions.

Its full-grain cowhide is vegetable-tanned using traditional methods and finished by hand to preserve the natural beauty of the hide. Rather than masking the leather beneath a perfectly uniform surface, this process allows its grain, tone and eventual patina to become part of the design.

A protective dust bag is included.
